The Shorti is a a new reagent reservoir created to meet the needs of researchers that use a small volume platform. It can be used with a multi-channel pipettor using a max of 4 channels.
One of our newest reservoirs, the Shorti is a multi-channel 5ml lab trough. The beauty of design in this reagent reservoir is its ability to accommodate 1 to 4 Channel Pipettes. The unique bottom trough design allows for complete removal of even the smallest amounts of solution due to the use of low retention HDPE in production.
The Shorti features pour spouts on all four corners as well as easy to read graduations on the inside wall. This little gem is big on durability with a unique sidewall design and sturdy base construction, a must for quality lab products.
Our newest product is available in non-sterile (bulk packaging) and sterile, which can be individually wrapped or shipped 5 per bag. The sterile Shorti is delivered in easy to tear bags to help keep the basin undamaged and maintain sterilization. In the production of this product Gamma irradiation is used to ensure the absence of growth-affecting residue. The Shorti is also available in Polystyrene (PS), APET, PVC.
The Shorti, like our entire line of reservoirs, is offered in both sterile and non-sterile packaging and in three different materials: Natural High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), White Polystyrene (PS) or Clear Polyester (PET).
